  64.    - There's now a new application in the HWI.ZIP file. The OS/2 Drop Spy is a
  65.      little tool for those developers that need to know what alien applications
  66.      define as it's Darg and Drop protocol. The OS/2 Drop Spy shows the
  67.      rendering information, source and target name, the type and container
  68.      information.
  69.  
  70.      OS/2 Drop Spy is freeware. There's no separate ZIP. It's only included
  71.      in the OS/2 Shareware Collection file (HWI.ZIP) and installed during the
  72.      installation of the OS/2 Shareware Collection.

  97.    incompatibilities with the registration of additional frame extensions.
  98.    Please add my apps to the incompatibility list of XIT whenever you
  99.    experience SYS3175 traps in HWIS.DLL.

  101.    A new release of XIT seems to avoid this problem so please download a new
  102.    release of XIT whenever you experience such problems.

  112.    more than this application you need to download them all again. If you don't
  113.    do this, you'll see corrupted bitmaps in the toolbar buttons and some of
  114.    the toolbar selection dialogs (in OS/2 P-Book) won't work anymore. In
  115.    addition you'll notice faults during load of the applications.

  118.    system.

  157.  - Due to customer requirements, the directory structure for all my Shareware
  158.    apps has changed.

  160.    The old installation procedure created the following struct on your
  161.    harddisk:

  164.               HWIPbk   (P-Book)
  165.               HWISLevl (SyslevelEditor)
  166.               HWITrack (ProblemTracker)
  167.               HWIDbf   (XBaseSpy)

  172.    In addition many directory entries were copied to your LIBPATH, PATH and
  173.    HELP environment in your CONFIG.SYS.

  175.    The new installation procedure will create the following struct on your
  176.    harddisk:

  179.               Dll (Common DLLs)

  181.    The following steps are neccessary to transfer the old settings to the new
  182.    format:

  184.    1.) Use the INSTALL.EXE on this disk to install the applications. Please
  185.        let the installation change your CONFIG.SYS and Desktop objects.
  186.  
  187.        The old WPS objects will be changed to the new location and the new
  188.        Shareware applications DDESpy and SystemSpy will be inserted.
  189.  
  190.    2.) Copy the *.INI files from the old HWIClass, HWIPbk, HWISLevl, HWITrack,
  191.        HWIDbf, HWIDde and HWISys directories to the new Bin directory.
  192.  
  193.        This step is required. If you would omit this step the old P-Book
  194.        databases can't be found.
  195.  
  196.    3.) Remove the old directories HWIClass, HWIPbk, HWISlevl, HWITrack,
  197.        HWIDbf, HWIDde and HWISys.
  198.  
  199.        These directories are no longer required after performing steps 1 thru
  200.        2.
  201.  
  202.    4.) Remove the entries for HWIClass, HWIPbk, HWISlevl, HWITrack, HWIDbf,
  203.        HWIDde and HWISys from the LIBPATH, PATH and HELP environment in your
  204.        CONFIG.SYS.
  205.  
  206.        These entries are no longer required. Please do not (!) delete the new
  207.        entries named BIN or DLL.
